In ancient times the Apulian territory was divided into three large areas: the Capitanata, the Land of Bari and the Land of Otranto. For this reason the region was called Le Puglie until the unification of Italy.
For our brand, we wanted to resurrect this term to underline the many aspects of a region that in recent years has had an extraordinary success from the tourist point of view but above all for the richness of its gastronomic proposal and its products of excellence. Let's think of wine, oil, pasta, bread and all those typical products that have bewitched the palate of many lovers and lovers of authentic and quality food. At the same time, many artistic phenomena such as the " Taranta ", the " Luminarie ", landscape like the " Masserie ", and historical-cultural such as the" Norman Cathedrals "and the" Medieval Castles ".
In this context our company Masseria le Puglie was born, which wants to enclose in a name a simple mood that can evoke all the excellences of this extraordinary territory. From such a favorable natural context and thanks to the work of men who still do not give up traditional methods today, our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is born in the two fragrances, Delicate and Intense respectively obtained from two cultivars with excellent properties : Arbequina and Coratina.
It is a starting point to bring to the table of gourmets and connoisseurs a niche product that will be enriched in the near future from other refinements of the highest quality.
