The vine is the Fiano cultivated in a plain of our Bari murgia "STRAPPETE". A land burnt by the sun from which it takes all its strength and energy.
Although white, it is a structured wine, slightly aromatic, with good flavor with notes of dried fruit. Alcohol content: 11.5% vol.
Why HELIANTUS? because it is a yellow colored wine like the flower of the sun.
Its generic name (Helianthus) comes from two Greek words.
The first is Helios which means Sun, the other is anthos which means flower.
Helianthus is a genus of dicotyledonous spermatophyte plants belonging to the Asteraceae family, with the appearance of large herbaceous plants with a typical yellow flower head.
